For local tasks, 100% yes. Custom GPTs can't run a shell script on your laptop or monitor your local file system. OpenClaw is 'real' automation, whereas GPTs are more like 'knowledge' tools.

I highly recommend using Claude 3.5 Sonnet for the logic parts, it's way more reliable than GPT-4 for shell commands.
